Energy and Geology Interpretation Center

The Energy and Geology Interpretation Center is one of the largest and most impressive hydraulic architectural works in Europe in the last 50 years.

The Canelles Energy and Geology Interpretation Center is a link between the public and scientific and technical knowledge, which brings the visitor closer to the world of energy, geology and the natural environment.

The Center takes advantage of the characteristics of a unique space at the bottom of one of the most important dams in Europe, the Canelles dam, with a height of 152 m. in the Montsec mountain range.

After the visit to the Interpretation Center, a tour of the outside and inside of one of the most important power plants in Catalonia and one of the most emblematic caves, the Central de Canelles and his Black Cave.
